Sunday 5th October 2025
This Sunday is Harvest – that joyful time in the Church’s year when even the simplest apple or tin of beans reminds us of God’s extraordinary provision. Harvest calls us to wake up and notice the daily miracles already in our hands.
In our all-age service we’ll be giving thanks for God’s abundance, but also asking a vital question: if He has given us enough, what does He require of us? The answer is as simple—and as demanding—as sharing.
Part of our worship will be bringing food for Woodley Foodbank. These gifts are not “extra decorations,” but acts of gratitude and discipleship. So don’t forget to bring something along that we can bless others with! And to help us see the ordinary become extraordinary, some of our young people will be making their own little culinary creations right in the service.
So come—bring your families, your friends, and perhaps even your shopping bag—and let us discover together that what seems small and ordinary can, when blessed and shared, become extraordinary.Every blessing,
Mark
