Three lancet windows in the chancel are unusual and distinctive marks of the chancel's early date, C1180.

Music and Worship

We have 6 bells that ring beautifully

Sometimes. Organised by the Black Bourton Village Association.

20th century bellows-operated organ

Two services a month, Holy Communion at 10.30 a.m. on the second Sunday and Evensong on the fourth Sunday.


Groups, Courses and Activities

There are 3 important ledgers of historical figures. One is behind the altar, and the other 2 are in the nave to the left, just before entering the chancel.

Weekly bible study in winter months for an hour once a week. (dates and times decided at the end of August)

A coffee morning run by the gardening club usually held on the second Saturday of the month between 10 and 12noon.
