17th August – 22nd August from 10am to 12noon and 2pm to 4pm
This tapestry, designed by Bletchingdon resident Charles Jones, depicts the Battle of 1066. A unique event not to be missed, Charles will give explanatory talks from 10a-12noon during the exhibit week. And then from 2pm-4pm workshops will be offered that showcase the art of embroidery and dying fabrics with natural plant dyes.
The exhibition is free (donations appreciated). There will be a small charge for the workshops. Refreshments will be on sale. Children are most welcome.
