Before Stations of the Cross begins their is an opportunity to make your confessio

Each Saturday in Lent at 10.00 in Holy Trinity, we will be walking the Way of the Cross - a route through the Passion story with readings and meditations. Do join us for this Lenten preparation. There is opportunity to make confession from 9.30.

A more informal service to suit all ages with children especially encouraged to take part.

A short service to start the day

An opportunity to sit, talk and drink refreshments. This event is held in the church and all are welcome. You can stay as long as suits you.

A six week course led by Revd Dr Gillian Strain joined by expert thinkers of science, theology and spiritual practices. We explore how people grow in wisdom and faith.

A friendly service lead by a choir with readings and prayers by members of the congregation.

A simple soup and roll lunch with all proceeds to Church and Charity.

Our service starts with blessing of the palms in Balmoral Road followed by a procession to the church singing our first hymn

The Triduum runs over three days and you are invited to join us for the three events marking the crucifixion to the resurrection. The series begins at 7.30pm on Maundy Thursday with Eucharist which includes foot washing and the silent stripping the altar. The guest preacher is The Revd Canon Dr David Primrose

A solemn service for this day of bitterness and mourning. The Gospel reading is replaced by The Passion read by members of the congregation.

As the day draws to a close we gather round the fire pit outside the church door then throw open the doors as Christ's light re-enters the church. The readings take us from creation to God's promise of restoration to be fulfilled in Jesus Christ. When darkness falls we can proclaim the risen Christ.
