High Street, Chase Terrace Burntwood Staffordshire WS7 1LR, United Kingdom
Our 10am service is generally an informal service of praise, prayer, teaching and sharing. The music is usually led by a band or by singing along to backing tracks, and although some traditional hymns are sung, most of the songs are modern and contemporary. We share in Communion once a month or so, whilst there are sometimes baptisms as part of the service.
Our Sunday Stars and The Mess groups for children and young people take place each week and during the service. It is a very friendly and mixed gathering - services tend to finish around 11:15am, followed by refreshments.

Safeguarding

Our parish of St John's Community Church, Chase Terrace & Boney Hay, is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Kathy Louis (07914 355404) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Neil Spiring (01543 306147). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
