Easter Dawn service

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
Sambrook St Luke
Address
Centre of the Village Sambrook Newport, TF10 8BW, United Kingdom

6.20am start of service, sunrise is about 6.24. Meeting in the bottom of the Vicarage field, huddled around the fire for warmth. Yes it is early, but a wonderful way to celebrate the our risen Lord. There will be a light breakfast provided in the village hall, and then the main service is at 8am (yes, that's also still very early), but then you can go home to cook the roast lamb and eat chocolate.

Sambrook St Luke

St Luke’s is a friendly and welcoming village church with a small but steadily growing congregation. We worship together twice a month — Holy Communion on the first Sunday and a Village Service on the third — and enjoy sharing refreshments afterwards whenever volunteers are available.

We are currently working towards installing kitchen and toilet facilities, which will open up new possibilities for community events, study groups and hospitality.

Our fortnightly Tuesday Tea Room is a highlight of village life. Set up by friends of the church, it offers a warm space for conversation, support and friendship, while also raising funds for our amenities project.

Whether you come for worship, community or curiosity, you will find a warm welcome at St Luke’s.
