A Communion service marking the Presentation of Christ in the Temple, celebrating Christ as the light of the world.
Followed by a simple soup lunch – all are warmly welcome.

A relaxed, informal service for all ages with contemporary worship, accessible teaching, creative activities for all ages, and time to gather as church family.
No pressure, no jargon — just a warm welcome for everyone to get to know God better.

Join us for a special service celebrating baptism and new life in Christ.

Please stay and join us for pancakes — a simple, joyful way to continue our celebration together as we begin the season of Lent.

Walk Thru’ the Old Testament – Interactive Workshop
Venue: Bourne End Community Centre
Cost: £20 per person

Join us for an inspiring and interactive day exploring the grand story of the Old Testament, brought to life by Walk Thru the Bible (WTB). The engaging otLIVE-style approach helps make sense of the many books, people and events by showing the big picture of God’s story — clear, relevant and memorable.

Whether you’re new to the Bible or have read it for years, this workshop offers fresh insight and helps you discover where you fit into God’s unfolding purposes.

Bridge, Games and Tea Afternoon
Venue: Abbotsbrook Hall, Well End
A friendly and relaxed afternoon of board games and conversation for all ages.
This event was very popular last year — so be sure to book early. Arrive at 1.45 for 2pm start.

Bring a 4 to play Bridge, Canasta, Whist, Mah Jongh or join others for board games.

Tickets £12.50 each to include a delicious homemade tea.

Proceeds to be split between St John the Baptist Church and local charities
