St James’ Church, Acton Trussell will again be entering the Churchyard Awards Scheme in 2023. Dr Alison Primrose leads this Scheme on behalf of the Diocese of Lichfield. In the 2 page attachments she explains how the Scheme works and what the judges look for in the various churchyards entering the Scheme.

All are welcome to St James’ Churchyard and the congregation and community is invited to help to maintain it and keep it looking good and nature friendly. There will be a tidy up day shortly- more details to follow!
