Love your Churchyard!This is Love your Churchyard Week and it is a great opportunity to visit and explore St James’ Churchyard.Caring for God’s Acre is an organisation which we join with in promoting this week- they help churches manage their burial grounds and churchyards always making sure that nature can thrive there.Why not pay a visit to St James’ Churchyard and see if you can spot the areas photographed- you will be most welcome and you can be sure of finding something of interest,
Lots of things to celebrate!On Sunday 5th June the church service will be held at St James’ Church Acton Trussell starting at 9.30 am. Rev Delphine will lead the service to celebrate holy communion at the time of Pentecost and of course the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.We have planted a tree for the Queen’s Jubilee in the St James’ churchyard and will mark the planting with a photo on Sunday after the service.All are welcome-tea and cake will be served!
Messy Superheroes is on Saturday 9th July at the Community Centre, Acton Trussell 12 noon to 2pm.
