Messy Church-Save the Date- 29th April Our next Messy Church to mark the Coronation is themed Kings and Crowns and will be on 29th April at St James’ Church at 12 noon- book your place now!
St James’ Church, Acton Trussell will again be entering the Churchyard Awards Scheme in 2023. Dr Alison Primrose leads this Scheme on behalf of the Diocese of Lichfield. In the 2 page attachments she explains how the Scheme works and what the judges look for in the various churchyards entering the Scheme.All are welcome to St James’ Churchyard and the congregation and community is invited to help to maintain it and keep it looking good and nature friendly. There will be a tidy up day shortly- more details to follow!
Christingle at St JamesIt was lovely to see so many children and relatives and friends at Messy Christingle on Christmas Eve. The Christingles the children made were wonderful- what a start to Christmas. The collection in aid of The Children’s Society raised a fantastic sum of £113.22 so thank you very much for your support for this worthy cause. Look out for the next Messy Church event in the Spring- hope to see you then. In the meantime wishing you hope, joy and peace in 2023.
