Knitting and Nattering at the Greyhound Inn at Burston

There was plenty of knitting and nattering at the Greyhound Inn at Burston for the first meeting of our newly formed group at the end of January. It was good to see some new faces as well as church regulars and a few men too. The aim is to have a thousand poppies to display at All Saints’ Church in November as part of the thousand-year celebrations

To start the group off, Susan from The Artisan Boutique and Kitchen in Stone donated a generous amount of wool and needles.

Wool and needles were also donated by Diane and Sue Humphreys after they saw the post on the Church’s Facebook page

The sessions will be from 1-30pm until 3-00pm on the fourth Thursday of each month until October
