Expert Enlightenment at All Saints Church

Recently there was an opportunity to meet the Conservators who are working on The National Lottery Heritage Fund project at the Grade I listed All Saints Church in Sandon. About 30 guests assembled in three groups in the church to listen to the experts talk about their skills as they work on the William Wailes stained glass windows, exterior and interior stone masonry and on the conservation of the Erdeswicke family monument and tombs, wall paintings and the Charles the Second Royal Coat of Arms. 

It was a real privilege to see the progress that has been made since they began their work last November.
