Mondays in church, 9:30 - 11:00. Meet other parents AND toddlers, good parking, friendly folk, a small fee
Meets in Term time
There is a course introducing Christian Meditation being held weekly in St Mary’s which began on 24th February at 7.30pm.
This course is a practical as well as theological so we will meet in person. You are welcome to join the remaining sessions which start with a reminder of the activity.
Meditation is an ancient form of prayer. Its aim is to bring the distracted mind to silence and stillness, and rest in the presence of God. Even in our modern busy lives this is possible. The introductory course provides an opportunity to experience the practice of Christian Meditation in a small group, to learn about its origins, and to discover its relevance as a form of prayer for the contemporary world.
