To respond to the Afghan refugee crisis a donation point has been set up in Stone to help with the plight of the refugees. Our calling as Christians is to welcome the stranger read in this weeks newsletter about ways in which you can help.On a celebratory note a local couple tied the knot at St. Mary's with a vitual peel of bells ringing out around the village whilst the real bells await some restoration work!. Any volunteers to help clean and prepare the bells before work begins on them is very welcome . Please contact the church wardens.
