On Friday 5th September 2025, the new Nursery facility at St Thomas C of E School, was officially opened. Guests of honour were: The Mayor of Wolverhampton, Mr Craig Collingwood,  Ms Shonette Bason-Wood, enthusiastic early years educationalist, Ms Hayley Guest, CEO of  Manor Multi Academy Trust  and Mrs Beardsley, Headteacher of the school. After speeches, it was given to Ms Bason-Wood to wield the scissors and declare the annex open. The Mayor popped (non-alcoholic) champagne and a range of guests including parents, teachers, church representatives, council officers and educationalists gave a round of applause.
