Approximately 250 villagers joined together in remembering those who gave their lives that we might live. The service was followed by refreshments in the Woolpack. Thanks go to all those who made the the service possible, laid wreaths and to Debbie and Martin at the Woolpack for their hospitality.
On Tuesday, Armistice Day, approximately 100 villagers joined all the children from St Andrew’s school who made their own dedication to those who died from the village, singing lovely songs and saying prayers and poems prepared by themselves. It was very moving to see the children so engaged with the event.
