New adventure play equipment for village green.
Exciting new play equipment is coming to Weston Village Green, offering a safe and adventurous experience for local children and families. The wooden outdoor climbing frame, featuring walking beams and climbing nets, will soon be installed, providing active and imaginative play for children aged six and above. Funded by Weston with Gayton Parish Council, the robust structure is designed to support children’s physical development, coordination, problem solving and confidence-building.
The high quality equipment, supplied by Sovereign Play Equipment, will include its own safety surface and generous use zones to ensure safe play for everyone. “This new climbing frame will be a fantastic addition to the equipment already on our green. It is designed to boost both physical and cognitive development for local children looking for outdoor adventure in a safe place,” said Councilor Andrew Massey, Chair of Weston with Gayton Parish Council.
Could you be Weston’s next Parish Councillor? An opportunity has arisen on the Weston with Gayton Parish Council for a resident to become a councilor and play an active role in shaping the future of their community. Following a vacancy a new member to represent Weston can now be co-opted onto the Parish Council. The council helps to influence decisions on village services and facilities – and is the voice of village residents in discussions with other local authorities and organisations that serve the area.
As a councilor you will join an experienced team and the opportunity to contribute ideas, listen to residents, and help guide the decisions that affect village life. You don’t need previous experience of civic life - just enthusiasm, commitment and a genuine interest in your community.
If you want to learn more or want to make an expression of interest to join the Parish Council, please contact Beth, the Clerk to Weston with Gayton Parish Council: [email protected]
