St. Andrew's Church were delighted to be able to welcome Margot Mary Anne Ufton, her parents Richard and Rebecca, and a large congregation of family and friends, for her Christening on the 19th October. Although just seven months old she took a great deal of interest in all that was going on, very much rose to the occasion by behaving impeccably and charming us all with her smiles. After her Christening Margot was introduced to the congregation when Richard and Rebecca carried her around the church to the applause of us all. Please join with us in praying for Margot, Richard and Rebecca, her Godparents Emma, Jack, Charlotte, Lee and Courtney and all those that will love and care for her throughout her life. We hope that through the years we may be able to help her to grow in her faith, and that the love shown to her today never ends.

St Andrew’s church is offering a place of welcome on the first Friday of every month, and next month it will be on 2nd November at 10-00am until 12-00 noon. Please come along for tea, coffee and a friendly chat.

Please join the village on Sunday 9th November in an act of Remembrance at the Village Memorial on the Green.
The service starts at 10-45am with a minute’s silence at 11-00am, followed by refreshments in the Woolpack.

Children’s Christmas Extravaganza
The extravaganza will be happening again this year on Saturday 6th December at St. Andrew’s Church.
It will be a fantastic show again for the children. Spaces will be limited so look out for the posters and adverts to come!
