Dr R. M. Francis leads this innovative poetry workshop exploring key themes and symbols of All Saints Day

Join R. M. Francis, poet and Senior Lecturer in Creative and Professional Writing at the University of Wolverhampton, for this innovative poetry workshop inspired by key themes and symbols of All Saints. We'll be writing poetry based on some of Francis's cutting-edge poetics and considering what All Saints means in creative ways.

Following the session, Dr Francis will read poems from his recent V Press collection, Palmer, and participants will have the opportunity to buy copies to help support the continued maintenance and upkeep of Saint Peter's - a site of significant cultural importance to the city and the Black Country region.

St Peter's Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton

Welcome to St Peter's Collegiate Church in the heart of Wolverhampton.   We are normally open every weekday between 11am and 2pm for visits and private prayer and we'd love to see you!

IMPORTANT – Chancel Window Repairs

Now that the scaffolding  has been installed and works have begun there will be no access to the Chancel until  completion ( now estimated July 2026).   However the rest of the church remains open as normal during this time.

South Door Access

Unfortunately, following the recent problem with the stonework above the South Door, there will be no access to St Peter’s through the South Porch for the foreseeable future to allow remedial works to take place.

We do however have temporary ramped access via the West door. Please ask if you need to use the ramp.

During Term time we have Choral Sung Eucharist at 11.15am every Sunday   (Sung Eucharist in School Holidays), Choral Evensong at 6.30pm (said in School Holidays) and weekday Choral Evensong at 5.15pm on Wednesdays (Term time only)

You will find our Music List for the current month and our weekly Music and Notice Booklet in PDF format under the Notice Sheets tab in the News and Notices section.
