Wombridge Community Lunch will be held in the Parish Centre on the first Friday of each month. The next lunch is on Friday 1st May between 12.30pm and 2.00pm. Thanks to sponsorship by the Co-op the lunch of soup and a roll, fruit pie and custard and a drink will be provided free of charge. Everyone is welcome, no need to book, just pop in for food and a chat, maybe a game of cards and a quiz.

Brownies meet for activities, fun and friendship

All welcome to join us for a short mid week service at 9.15am each Wednesday. It provides a much-needed midweek 'recharging of the batteries'.

Since it began in 2016, Thy Kingdom Come has become a global ecumenical prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus. Every person, household and church are encouraged to pray during the 11 days (14th to 24th May Pentecost to Ascension) in their own way, that those who have not yet heard the Good News of Jesus Christ and His love for the world, will hear it for themselves and respond and follow Him. You can 'Pray for 5' friends, family members or colleagues to encounter the life transforming love of Christ.
There is a Novena resource for the 11 days which this year is written by The Archbishop of Canterbury Sarah Mullally. It contains a daily reading, reflection and prayer. This can be accessed online, but we will have a supply of the printed booklets in Church for those who prefer to read in this way. If you could like a free booklet, please contact us and we will arrange to post one to you.

Everyone welcome at this community coffee morning on Tuesday 19th May from 10.30am to 12pm. Come along and enjoy cake and an unlimited hot drink for just £2 and stay for a chat, a quiz and a browse around the stalls.
