Bradfield: St Giles

St. Giles, Bradfield is a chapel of ease within the Trunch Group of Parishes.  This historic church with medieval wall paintings including a 'doom' mural hosts a service of quiet prayer for 15 minutes on the first of every month at 12 noon.  The church is a member of the quiet prayer places.  Without any electricity or water and with a fabulous diversity of flora and fauna in the churchyard, St. Giles has just been awarded a Silver Ecochurch award by A Rocha.  For regular church services please see the Trunch Benefice or go to trunchgroup.org  All are welcome.

Safeguarding

Our Parishes are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [Allison Jackson on 01263 720826 or [email protected]] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [Sue Brice on 01603 882345 or [email protected]]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services
