Hornton: St John the Baptist

Welcome to St John the Baptist, Hornton. We are part of the Ironstone Benefice north of Banbury and very pleased you are looking at our page, where you can find information about our Sunday services; other events; and something about the history of our beautiful building. Our Rector is Revd Alicia Baker. Her contact details are 01295 738593 [email protected] You can contact her directly from this website. If you are interested in getting married at one of our lovely Benefice churches or require to have the banns read due to marrying outside of the parish, please contact [email protected] in the first instance.

Our primary purpose as the Church is to worship God our heavenly Father who gave us spiritual life through his Son Jesus Christ. We are enabled to live out our Christian faith through the Holy Spirit and by worshipping together, serving our communities and by prayer.

We hope you will find prayers on this website that you can use yourself. You are always welcome to attend our services and make yourself known to us. Do not hesitate to get in touch via the contacts page if we can help in some way.

Please also visit the Ironstone Benefice Oxfordshire Facebook page for our latest news.
