About Us

St Edward's is a friendly and genuinely welcoming church in the West of Burgess Hill. We are a mixed and diverse community from a range of backgrounds and life experiences that seek to be church family together.

Our worship reflects the diversity of who we are, so we hope that our services offer something for everyone! 

We have a strong eco focus, including with monthly outdoor worship and a community garden. We are a member of the Inclusive Church network and aim to be inclusive in all sense of the word. We are pleased to offer the 'Prayers of Love and Faith' i.e. we can offer a blessing of relationship to those who are gay, within the context of a Sunday service. If this is something you are interested in, do get in touch.

Our main Sunday worship is at 10.30am on Sunday and has children's work alongside it (except on week 1 of the month). We have refreshments after the service, except for week 3 when it is between the services at about 10am.

St Edward's is on a journey to revitalise and regrow the church here in the west of Burgess Hill, so it is an exciting time in the life of the church.
