Midweek service of Holy Communion
Join us for tea, scones and fellowship. Everyone is welcome. This takes place in the church hall from 10-12.
A chance to dig deeper and grow our faith. We meet in small groups and follow a course that takes us through all the way to Holy Week at the end of March. This year we're following the Church Urban Fund's 'Growing Good' course.
We have a group meeting fortnightly on a Friday daytime and another meeting every week on a Tuesday evening

Join us for a time of prayer followed by coffee and croissants
Everyone is made very welcome. Children are welcome to go out to Junior Church for the first part of the service, returning for Holy Communion.
A joyful family event when we can say 'thank you' for our mothers or for any that have been like mothers to us. Flower posies are handed out and refreshments are served afterwards.

We walk together from the Parade to the church, led by the cross. Palm Sunday is when we recall Jesus arriving in Jerusalem on a donkey, shortly before he was condemned to death. This special day is the beginning of a week of special services called Holy Week, leading up to Easter.
A quiet evening devotion where we hear scripture and respond in prayer. The church is lit by candles and we contemplate Jesus's journey to the cross.
An evening event for Holy Week. The Stations of the Cross tell the story of Jesus going to his death. We meet to pray and worship God for the sacrifice Jesus made.
This ancient form of night prayer is part of our Holy Week devotions here at St Alban's.
