About Us
We are a family-friendly, community focused C of E Church in a rural part of Berkshire. We welcome residents and visitors alike to our historic 11th century village church, where we worship in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
Our main morning service is at 10am or 10:30am, and is often a Communion service from Common Worship, with music led by the Choir. On the first Sunday of the month there is an All Age service with the Junior Choir, and later on a traditional Choral Evensong with music from our extended Church Choir. We also have said BCP Communion on some Sundays at 8:45am. PLease see the service details for a full list.
Church activities include a thriving music tradition with choirs for adults and young people (and an annual choral festival), plus bell-ringing, flowers, needlework, concerts, a weekday 3-Generations club, and the monthly St Lawrence Cafe in the village hall (3rd Sundays from 9.15am).
Our church webpages at http://www.wslchurch.uk will be supplemented over the coming months.
