This very popular and joyful Christmas service always attracts many young families - so do arrive early for the 4pm start.
We remember together the wonder of God with us, arriving in the little town of Bethlehem as a baby boy, the Light of the World. That was just over 2,000 years ago; baby Jesus' crib was an animals' feeding trough, and poor shepherds were the first visitors to young Mary and Joseph the carpenter as they celebrated the birth of the Messiah in circumstances not expected by the religious authorities.
We have very limited parking in the Centenary Hall just behind the church, accessed on foot through the churchyard, but there is also the main Orchards car park close by - both off St Wilfrid's Way.
