Apostles’ Award Pilgrims reach Canterbury!

6 pilgrims from our church walked from Charing in Kent to Canterbury Cathedral last weekend. They did this to fulfil part of a scheme we run to encourage Christians to grow in faith and discipleship.

Fr Jeremy (Vicar of Hellingly) said, “It was wonderful to be greeted so warmly by the people at the Cathedral. We joined the main Sunday morning Eucharist. To be part of such a beautiful service after slogging through wind and rain the day before was a wonderful moment for us all. Thank you to the stewards and canons of the cathedral in making the conclusion of our journey so memorable.”
