Come and celebrate Christingle at St John the Evangelist, Preston, Brighton on Sunday 14 December at 4pm! 🍊

#Christingle is a joyful celebration that brings families and communities together to share the light of Jesus and spread a message of hope.

During the service, each person will make a Christingle and the candles are all lit to create and warm, magical glow symbolizing the light of Christ and bringing hope to people living in darkness.

Welcome to the Parish Church of St John the Evangelist, Preston, Brighton, a lively Anglican church in the suburbs of north Brighton. St John's is a welcoming, friendly, creative and outward-looking church, in a central/catholic tradition and is affiliated to the Inclusive Church network.

The church community is committed to fostering spiritual and numerical growth and to engaging more effectively with our local community.

There's a Eucharist with hymns at St John's every Sunday at 10am followed by refreshments, as well as a mid-week Eucharist on Wednesday mornings at 10am followed by Preston Coffee Pot, a community cafe.
