As August draws to a close, we reflect on another busy and heartening morning at the Church Pantry. Over July and August, we distributed an incredible 595 bags of food—an increase from 547 during the same period last year. This rise reminds us of the vital role the Pantry continues to play in our community. Each week, we welcome new families who find themselves in need of a helping hand. It’s a privilege to offer support during these challenging times. Equally encouraging is the number of familiar faces who no longer need our help—having weathered their difficult season and regained stability. Thank you to everyone who contributes time, donations, and kindness. Your generosity makes this work possible and ensures that hope is always within reach. If you are able to help with a small donation, this week we are short of milk, squash, jam, tinned fruit and tinned vegetables.
