We had 75 households use your Church Pantry this week and it was wonderful to see so many come along to our first Cafe Church. Rev. Natalie led the session and, after a welcoming chat, told the story of the feeding of the five thousand. We had songs and experienced a creative prayer time. It all went really well with everyone joining in over coffee and cake, we will ask for feedback and see how this develops over the coming months. It's our early Pantry next week and if you can help us please to restock, we are very short of milk, cereal, pasta, pasta sauce and tuna. Thank you for your wonderful support. The Pantry Team
We are so pleased that we have been awarded the Bronze Eco Church Award Certificate
As we reach the halfway point in May, FSW is looking at what activities we will be running for our families this summer. Already in the diary are the fun day at Warnham Park and a quieter day at Berwick Church for families. With six weeks of holidays coming up, this time can be a challenge for parents and carers, with extra childcare needed and trips and holidays to pay for. It is important that we can play a part in ensuring every family has a good time and builds happy memories for the future.Following our Lent Appeal and our days at the Bluebell Walk and Open Gardens, I want to say thank you to all of you who have supported us. We have had a really good start to this financial year, and I hope we can keep this momentum going so we can continue to support every family that needs us. As I always say, we are all part of the team that supports the families FSW works with, and if any one part of that team is missing, then our work becomes so much harder. With my best wishes,Martin and the FSW Team
