Everyone is warmly invited to the Licensing service of Fr Chris as Vicar of St Mary’s on Tuesday 5 May at 7.30pm. 

Fr Chris will be licensed as Vicar of St Mary’s by the Bishop of Lewes, The Rt Rev Will Hazlewood and The Archdeacon of Chichester, the Ven Dr Tom Carpenter. We hope you will be able to join us for the service as well as food and drink afterwards in the Parish Rooms. 

 Fr Chris is currently our Priest-in-Charge (since 2022) and his licensing as Vicar marks a significant change for the parish, which has not had a Vicar for over 30 years. This is an important and joyful occasion in the life of our church and community and we hope you will be able to join us. Everyone welcome
