A quiet, contemplative service held Monday to Friday at 5:15pm in the chancel. Evening prayer follows the liturgy found on the Daily Prayer app. All are welcome to join.

Rosary Group, the rosary is said in the Lady Chapel. Attendees take it in turn to lead. With specific, topical, parish related and personal intentions. All welcome, rosary and guidance booklet available if needed.

Prayers and anointing for healing and wholeness
On the 1st of November we will remember our departed loved one and ancestors in two ways. At 3pm there will be an All Souls service in church, a quiet and reflective memorial service open to all.
At 4pm we will go outside into the churchyard (weather permitting) and light hundreds of memorial lanterns. The churchyard will be transformed into a living memorial full of lights, shining in the darkness. In some countries particularly in the East of Europe this is a well established tradition that sees thousands of lanterns lit each year.
We will provide the lanterns, they burn for 50 hours and they are weather resistant with a vented lid. Lanterns can be in memory of a particular person or in general memoriam.
To sponsor a lantern, we suggest a donation of £5.
You can sponsor lanterns here on-line. You can come to light it and place it yourself on the day or we can light it for you if you can't make it.
For one lantern - please put your name as the 'first name' and the person or people it is in memory of as the 'last name'.
For multiple lanterns - Select and pay for the number of lanterns that you would like then email [email protected] with the names that you wish to remember.
All the names will be prayed for at the All Souls memorial service at 3pm just before the lighting to which everyone is warmly invited.

This year the Christmas Tree Festival marks the 75th anniversary of the publication of "The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe" by C.S.Lewis. The Church will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the chance to step through the wardrobe into Narnia, meet Father Christmas, see a wide display of themed Christmas trees and flower displays and enjoy Christmas stalls and children's activities.
Children (and their grown-ups) are invited to dress up as their favourite character from the Christmas story - whether that's Mary, Joseph, a shepherd, an angel, one of the Wise Men, or even the donkey.
Together, we'll bring the story of Jesus' birth to life in a fun, relaxed service filled with carols and Christmas joy.
