Saint Andrew's

St Andrew's Church serves the local community of Tarring. We are located at the heart of the most historic part of Worthing, a mile or so from the West Sussex coast and only a short distance from West Worthing train station.

St Andrew's is a beautiful church where the Christian faith has been celebrated for over 800 years, holding a deep connection to the thriving village community. We believe in the transforming love of Christ and the joy of walking this journey in fellowship with one another.

St Andrew's is part of the Benefice of Maybridge and West Tarring, which also includes St Richards.

Now that you have found us, have a look at the services and events we have taking place soon.

Everybody is welcome!

Safeguarding

St Andrew's is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chichester's safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO (Frances Spencer) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority's children or adult social care services.
