On the afternoon of 9th December, several village families joined Mary, Joseph and their donkey walking from the church to Hawley Fields the farm where they heard the Christmas story in the stable. The rain held off, the walkers wore their wellies, and the actors played their parts magnificently. We are grateful to Chris and Liz Wells at the farm for hosting the event, to Jenny Dyer for organising it and to all the actors and their supporters for coming - thank you.
