The Well Seasoned Singers and Players came to Seagrave church for the third successive year with another programme of carols and winter songs, for an audience of about 40 people. This group of friends has raised over £8,500 for The Rainbows Children's Hospice since they began their gigs, and is looking to reach £10,000 this year. The Seagrave performance raised over £300, and with several more performances this year, they're well on their way.  The audience enjoyed songs from the folk tradition , some with familiar words but unique tunes and there was plenty of opportunity for joining in. After the singing, there were refreshments and the equally important opportunity to chat! Grateful thanks to all who provided cakes and served drinks, and of course to the singers and players - Happy Christmas one and all.
