The annual Meeting of Parishioners for the Election of Churchwardens will be held on 16th March 2026 at 7.30 pm in church, to be followed immediately by the Annual Parochial Church Meeting for the appointment of one representative to the Deanery Synod and up to 10 members of the PCC. The meeting will receive reports on the proceedings and activities of the PCC, the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025 and other reports as prescribed by church law. Following their brief appearance at the flower festival last year, The Newstead Abbey Singers return to Seagrave with a mixed programme of songs, old and new. As well as the old Shaker song 'The gift to be simple', the programme will include 'My spirit sang all day'; 'O Danny boy'; and 'I do like to be beside the seaside'. It will also feature instrumental pieces for flute and piano. Tickets are £10 each and include interval refreshments, available from the PCC Secretary via email (use the 'Get in touch' link) or on the door. Proceeds will be in aid of church repairs, including fixing the North porch. A test pit was dug in late January and we await the engineer’s assessment of what is required!

When there is a 5th Sunday in the month, the Benefice meets for Morning Worship together at St Mary's Church, Sileby

Join us on Good Friday for our quiet Service of Reflection, from which we go out in silence to contemplate the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus for all humanity.

All are welcome to help decorate the church for Easter. Materials provided, but flowers and foliage from your gardens will be welcome as well. Tea, coffee, biscuits and squash will be available, and perhaps a few Easter eggs too! There will be a craft corner for families, so do come and join in the fun.
