On Sunday 25th September Megan Newcombe was confirmed by Bishop Saju. The service took place at St James the Great church in Birstall.  It was a heartwarming service where Bishop Saju confirmed not only Megan from St Peter and St Paul's Syston by also Phil and Chris Saunders from Barkby Church. A family group from Nigeria who come together to worship at St James's were also confirmed. With a mixture of Anglican liturgy and up beat songs of praise the service proved to capture the real spirit of diversity and joy in being together with the Holy Spirit firmly present
