St Andrew Church - All Age Friendly

Dear Friends, it is with sadness that we inform you that our Vicar, Revd Peter Chantry will be retiring from our Churches on the grounds of ill-health. His last Sunday with us will be 28th September where he hopes to preside at all the Church services - St Andrew's Skegby at 10am, All Saints' Stanton Hill at 11am and St Katherine's Teversal at 6.30pm.

Please pray for Peter, Helen and the family as well as the Churchwardens and all affected by this decision, as we move forward in faith and in God's love.

We would love to welcome you to St Andrew's.  We are a family-friendly church and meet for worship on Sunday and have a variety of activities during the week. We will be continuing with our Sunday services and weekly events as well as any Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals as far as we are able.

The office is only staffed for three afternoons a week, so you will be better to email any enqiuiries please, rather than phoning, and our Parish Administrator, Claire, will get back to you as soon as she is able. Thank you.

Safeguarding

Please know, St Andrew's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Ensuring that children, young people and vulnerable adults are kept safe whilst in our care is an integral part of our church life.

If you have any safeguarding concerns, please contact:

Parish Safeguarding Officer: Ellie Hayes 07871 088337

We refer all safeguarding information to the Diocesan Safeguarding Team who can be contacted for advice via email [email protected] or by phone 01636 817200 or via the website Contact Safeguarding - Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham
