Celebration of Holy Communion

Join us at Ripon Cathedral for a time of reflection and peace at the end of each day. Evening Worship takes place at 5.30pm every evening (except Sundays when it is at 3.30pm), offering either said Evening Prayer or sung Choral Evensong.

On some evenings, the service is led by a visiting choir.

All are welcome to attend this short act of worship in the beautiful surroundings of the Quire.

Children’s Church and Little Children’s Church take place most Sundays in term time with activity packs also available.

Mustard Seeds is our new Sunday morning Children’s Church group aimed at 0-6 year olds and their parents/carers, or any primary school age children who enjoy worshipping through singing, storytelling and craft.

Families gather in the Cathedral Library after the first hymn and re join the main service in time for communion.

Term-time only.

Mighty Trees is our new Sunday morning Children’s Church group aimed at 7-11 year olds. Join us for lively worship including games, stories and activities, all based on the theme of the day.

Drop off from 10.15am at the Chapel of the Resurrection.

Choral Evensong with Licensing of Readers from the Episcopal Area.

The cathedral choir’s history can be traced back to the time of St Wilfrid, who first introduced singers from Canterbury to Ripon. This tradition continues today with a strong back-row of adult voices and two thriving choirs of girls and boys.

Eucharist followed by refreshments served in the south transept.

Sung Compline with reflection

Mark Holy Week with us through fun and meaningful Easter crafts. We’ll be making baskets, crosses and much more!

Tuesday 31st March & Wednesday 1st April, 10.30am-12pm.

A creative and reflective session designed especially for children.

£4 per child which includes craft materials and refreshments (babies and young toddlers are free).
