St Helen's Church will be open every weekend from the end of July between 10am and 4pm.
You are most warmly invited to drop by and come in. Spend a while in the peace. Look round and see some of our story.
See the recovery from the devastation mentioned below and the current needs with a raised floor.
This is a simple beautiful peaceful church which consists of a south porch, nave, west tower and chancel with later vestry. The low west tower holds six bells and has pinnacles. The nave has box pews and is a light and airy space. The church suffered damage in 1984 when a fire started in the chancel area. This resulted in extensive repairs and restoration with a new roof, new lighting, carpeting and 81 embroidered kneelers created by members and friends.
