We have an informal service most Sundays, with music from a band, or sometimes songs and hymns recorded here or elsewhere. We have bible teaching and a chance to respond in prayer as God's spirit prompts us. We're a generous and welcoming community and we would love to meet you. Every week we either provide separately for children, or take trouble to include them in the main service.

Family Carol Service

Our annual carol service features well-known Christmas readings and carols, as well as music from the Stoke Holy Cross Primary School. There will be a short talk for all ages and a simple prayer acitivity.

Carols around the Christmas Tree for the whole village community at the Community Hall. Refreshments will be available for sale from the Community Cafe team.

More formal communion service

Most months, and normally on the 4th Sunday, we have a more formal communion service at Stoke. This includes well-known hymns and familiar prayers, a bible reading and a talk. There are refreshments at the beginning.

Crib Service

We'd love you to join us at our Crib Service on Christmas Eve. It's a family occasion and well-loved through the villages, as we look forward to Christmas morning and celebrate Jesus together. There'll be lots of familiar carols and readings, and fun for all the family. Anyone who would like to dress as a nativity character is especially welcome!

Christmas Day service
