An active church with a congregation of 50-75 people. St. Paul's is a beautiful and historically relevant church. We love to worship and proclaim God's name. St. Paul's is a family oriented church, and everyone is very much welcome.
We have 2 Curates, a Licensed Lay Minister and an Authorised Local Preacher, who take turns in preaching. Occasionally we have a guest speaker. We sing both traditional hymns and praise songs.
Within our church we feel it is important to play a role in the local community. We try to make the Christian message available to all who want to hear it.
The parish of Woodford Bridge: St Paul is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chelmsford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
