We hold our Book of Common Prayer Service of Morning Prayer every first and third Sunday of each month, except when a Benefice Service is being held in one of the parishes of the Benefice that day. The service will usually be led by: 1st Sundays - a Church Warden (no sermon); and 3rd Sundays - a Licensed Lay Minister (with sermon).

Currently, we offer the choice of taking communion as a dipped wafer or, receiving a wafer and drinking from the chalice.

Singers: We’d love you to join us. If you fancy rehearsing before the day, Shrivenham and Ashbury Benefice Choir meet on Thursdays 6.30-7.30 in St. Andrew’s, Shrivenham, and there will also be rehearsals on Wednesdays 30th April and 14th May at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s, Uffington.
On Sunday 18th May we will meet at 3pm in St Mary’s, Uffington (SN7 7RD) to rehearse, and the service will be at 6pm, with a break for tea and cake in between.

Cycle, walk or horse ride between the churches in Oxfordshire to raise money for our benefice churches and Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust. All the Uffington Benefice churches: Baulking, Shellingford, Uffington and Woolstone are taking part. Please check before you Ride or Stride! Each church in our benefice gets 50% of what the parishioners can raise with all proceeds going towards repairs to our churches which is very much welcomed by the church wardens!

To accommodate pets large and small, this service will be held in the churchyard.
