Alan and Hugh met Ali Adams at St Peter’s and presented the cheque for £370.80 from the June Quiz to the Didcot Community Partnership. This money will be used to provide picnics for families on low incomes at their summer Grub Hubs.As well as a photo of the cheque presentation there is one of their premises and their logo to give more brand awareness for the Didcot Community Partnership – we would have included these in the cheque photo if we hadn’t met Ali at church on Sunday! The organisation, Single Friendly Church, which encourages churches to consider the language and teaching they use around singleness has awarded St Peter's full 'Single Friendly Church' status.This means that St Peter's welcomes everyone warmly, whatever their status: single, separated, bereaved, partnered, married - with or without children. Everyone we welcome into our church is valued as a child of God and treated and spoken to accordingly.
