All Saints Day - 1st November

for 1 hour
All Saints Church
All Saints Church, Lydalls Road, Didcot, OX11 7EA

There is no service at St Peter's on 1st November as we join our friends at All Saints, Lydalls Road, for their Patronal Festival. We are back as normal on 8th November for our Remembrance Sunday service, with the Act of Remembrance at the Northbourne War Memorial, in the church garden.

St Peter's Didcot

We are a friendly, growing congregation in the Modern Catholic tradition, with a very strong choir helping to lead our worship. The church itself is warm, comfortable and easy to get into and around.   We are Inclusive of all people regardless of race, sex, sexuality, gender and disability.  We welcome people of all ages: single, partnered, married, single-again, with or without children.

We are continuing members of the Single Friendly Church Network, having completed its audit, and of Inclusive Church.

Safeguarding

The parish of Didcot: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO, Paul Hedley. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [email protected] or the DSA [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
