Join us for Sparsholt’s Harvest Festival where we will be joined by local farmer, Joyce Carter who will give us a short talk on their experience of farming in Sparsholt over the past year. After the service there will be refreshments.
Donations of both fresh and tinned goods will be gratefully received and given to the Food Bank and the Mix in Wantage.

A fundraising talk by one of the country’s most versatile and dynamic conductors, Hilary Davan Wetton about his wide-ranging and illustrious career and insight into the art of music making in aid of The Holy Rood, Sparsholt’s Restoration Project and the White Horse Festival.
Friday 3rd October 12-2pm at the fabulous 17 century Barn at Eastmanton House, Sparsholt, Wantage OX12 9PJ.

‘Songs at Twilight in the Vale’ Concert

Conductor Hilary Davan Wetton will be bringing his Chamber Choir that meet twice a year to perform music from the choral repertoire in beautiful settings in the uk and we are honoured that they have chosen Holy Rood, Sparsholt as one of them.
The evening will include crèment and canapés and proceeds will go to the Rood Project - Sparsholt Church’s Restoration Fund.
