Simple service of Morning Prayer sometimes using Common Worship, sometimes the Book of Common Prayer.
We begin at 9:30 with tea and coffee, bacon butties and pastries. This is followed by a short informal service at about 10:00: a song, some prayers, a bible reading and short reflection. Suitable for all ages.
A Crib and Christingle service for all ages, celebrating the Nativity with carols, the Christmas story, and the making or sharing of Christingles as we reflect on the light of Christ. A warm and joyful celebration for children, families and the whole community.
Our Community Hub, now part of the Wingrave Warm Spaces scheme. We start at 12 noon with a choice of soups and then from 2pm we serve teas, coffees, home made cake. We have a charity book stall, a jigsaw library, a place to leave your donations to a local food bank (and a place to get food too, if you need to).
Join us for “Midnight at Bethlehem,” a Christmas Eve Holy Communion service held at 7pm, midnight in Bethlehem. With carols, readings and prayers, we welcome the birth of Christ and share in the Eucharist together. Revd Will Lyon Tupman will take the service.
