This service takes liturgy from Common Worship and intends to make it live for the day concerned. Parishioners help set up the church and read. Hymns are from our new hymn book 'Ancient & Modern - hymns and songs for refreshing worship' which range from George Herbert and John Wesley, through to John Bell (Iona Community), Graham Kendrick, and Marty Haughen. All are welcome.

This is a traditional service of Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer. It includes a variety of hymns, Psalm, and sermon, with liturgy handed down to us from the pen of Thomas Cranmer. Young, old and in-betweeners are all very warmly welcome to this service in our beautiful church nestling near the foot of White Horse hill.
