Light, lanterns, candles, history, crafts, nature... and cake!
Plans for our Abbey Festival of Lights are now in place, and we have lots of exciting things waiting for you!
Families can make glowing lanterns, discover the story of St Birinus and explore some museum artefacts, try candle making, and explore how light has changed through the ages with our expert light historian.
Our littlest visitors can enjoy all the usual Abbey Tots toys and activities plus special crafts, while our Forest Church Team will be heading outdoors to explore, weather permitting.
And when you need a break, our Abbey Tea Rooms pop-up shop will be ready with tea and cake to purchase!
Best of all, entrance is completely FREE!
Bring the family, invite your friends and come and experience the Abbey filled with creativity, discovery and light.
