We enter God's presence, listen to a simple reflection, and hold a time of silence together.
The robed choir assist us in our worship, while the company of servers maintain the dignity of the liturgy. The sermon offers a reflection of the readings and the intercessions focus our prayers. After the service we serve refreshments and our fellowship continues.

Midweek moment to pray and celebrate Holy Communion
Once a month, early on a Sunday, we have a simple and reflective act of Holy Communion in the side chapel. This said service is about 30 minutes in length and offers an opportunity to rest in the love of God.
This service draws exclusively on the songs of the Taize community to offer a reflective service of prayer and thanksgiving. Simple repetitive chants, icons and candles are key elements of this evening service.
Once a month, on a Wednesday evening, we have a simple and reflective act of Holy Communion in the side chapel. This said service is about 30 minutes in length and offers an opportunity to rest in the love of God.
Where there is a fifth Sunday in the month, our regular Sung Eucharist includes a liturgy of anointing and prayers for healing, and the sermon will reflects on the theme of healing. Our pastoral team offer prayer and laying on of hands after the service in the side chapel.

In this fascinating talk, hear how Georgia Piggott came to write historical novels, became interested in 17th century food, and tracked down recipes of the period. Find out why the Alice Chronicles contain so many food references, discover more about what people of all classes in the 17th century really ate and drank, and learn how 16th and 17th century recipes can easily be re-created at home. Georgia Piggott lives in West Dorset and is the author of the Alice Chronicles, a series of novels set in the early 17th century featuring a young Dorset protagonist, Alice. The fifth book in the series is due to be published in late summer 2026.
